Reiki After Care

Body work, including reiki, can cause you to experience detox-like symptoms. You’ll want to properly nourish and care for your physical body just as you would if you were feeling under the weather.


  •  Drink plenty of water to support your body’s natural detoxification processes.

  •  Avoid or limit caffeine, processed foods, and refined sugars.

  •  Increase fruits and veggies consumption.

  •  Take an epsom salt bath.

  •  Move your body…gently. Consider taking a walk or doing a restorative yoga flow.

  •  Ground yourself through meditation or spending time in nature.

  •  Most importantly, REST!
